Recently, legislators in Washington passed the CPSIA, which governs safety standards in children's products. This legislation poses additional standards on products that have long been considered safe.
As a result, enhanced safety testing will make it difficult for manufacturers to create affordable products. While we would never compromise the safety of our products, we are concerned that this extreme legislation will do more harm to our industry than good to the children we serve.
