I bought the set for my classroom, but I let my 1st grade son use it first. He loved assembling it, but was disheartened when he couldn't finish the last portion... the roller coaster. It was a great price, but I may have to return it as we cannot complete the assembly and it was the last one.
Merchant response: We are so sorry that you are missing a piece from your set. Please contact customer service at email@example.com and they will send you the missing piece. Thank you.
Good Fun time with Adult help
This toy has great potential, and my grandkids ages 6, 4 and 2 loved playing with it once dad had it assembled. It would be great if replacements for some of the small parts were available as the green connector parts tended to snap off if not carefully attached. The kids found that frustrating. All in all a good toy and it got full attention for at least an hour on Christmas. Curious to see if the kids take to it and create their own geared gizmos down the road.

My 7 year old daughter loved this set.
from Neshanic Station, NJ
My 7 year old daughter loved this set. We built it together the first time--I don't think she could have built it by herself, but after that first time, she has spent a lot of time building, tearing down, reconfiguring, etc. This isn't a cheap item, but it's worth every cent.
Needs parental assembly each time

About Me Education Oriented, Grandparent
Requires carefully following instructions to assemble so my 5-year-old needed lots of help. Then near the end of assembly, we found that the roller coaster was missing from the box. Wish we could buy replacement parts! Overall, this product is a colorful and engaging toy.
Merchant response: We are sorry to hear that the roller coaster was missing from your box. Please contact customer service (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we will send you a replacement part. Thank you.
