Unique journals let student create their own stories. Inside the durable covers are a list of 100 high-frequency words and story starters such as characters, settings and situations. Journals include title page, about-the-author page and back pages with questions that encourage students to develop the plots, main characters, settings and other key aspects of their stories. After writing the stories, students can swap stories to practice fluency and comprehension.
