Comments about Smart Toss™ Math Sports Game:
Both my 3 and 5 year old have a blast playing this game! The game includes 4 different sports themed boards, including baseball, bowling, golf and basketball. Each game has various ways of scoring points that include simple math. Although my kids had the most fun trying to make the bean bags into the holes, we did read the numbers on the bags and incorporate math and numbers in other ways. There are just so many fun ways to play this game! Plus storing this game is a cinch-- just tuck the bean bags in the provided pockets and fold up and store!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Education Oriented, Parent Of Two Or More Children, Stay At Home Parent
My daughter is almost 3 years old. I got this knowing the recommended age starts at 5, but wanted to have something my daughter could grow into. We have played with this game in a number of ways already:-She identifies the number that is shown on the bean bag. After getting it right, she gets to toss it onto the board.-She tosses a bag onto the board, then "adds" between 1-3 more bags, then we total up the number of bags. -We toss all the bags onto the board, then take away the purple bags or orange bags, and then count how many bags are left.-She tosses the bags and tries to get the purple bags in a purple-rimmed hole and the orange bags in the orange-rimmed hole.As you can see, there are a number of ways you can play with this toy, even with a young child. As your child gets older, there are instructions to play more challenging games.I love that this set comes with built-in storage bags for the bean bags (I also store the instructions in there) and the board collapses so I can store it easily in a closet without taking up hardly any room! We've had a lot of fun with this!
Great for Kids the Learn by Doing!

If you have a child much like my own, and are on the hunt for tools to help with teaching Math, you'll want to know about a product I recently was given the opportunity to review through the company Learning Resources. The Smart Toss™ Math Sports Game has been a wonderful way to make learning math fun for both my son and my daughter. In this beanbag toss set, you'll see that it works around a sports theme. The sports spotlighted on the colorful child friendly board are baseball, bowling, golf, and basketball. There are 10 canvas bean bags, handy storage pockets inside, an easy-carry handle and an activity guide full of several different ways to play together. The vinyl surface wipes clean so that's great for outdoor or indoor use. It folds flat to 20"L x 18"H and takes up a minimal amount of space, perfect for any school supplies storage areas. The activity guide is great if you are looking for suggestion on how to start some games with the Smart Toss Math Sports set but you can also do you own thing. We've been doing our own thing working on simple addition and subtraction since my daughter is just 4 1/2. My son whom is almost two really just loves to throw the beanbags in the holes building up his fine motor skills. My whole family has enjoyed using this set together and imagine it will get many years of use when learning about addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Overall, I really like this set because it's unique. It works great for my children that learn best by doing. The durability is top quality and it's easy to clean. I like there's an activity guide and that we are also free to let our imagination take us and make up our own way to play while learning together. I would highly recommend this set for any school or home use.
