Ordering
How can I place an order?
  1. Online

    You may order directly from any product page on our website by selecting the quantity desired and by clicking on the Add to Cart button. After you have added your desired item(s) to your shopping cart you can checkout on our safe and secure server. To checkout simply click on the button that says checkout at the bottom right of our shipping cart page. From here you will be prompted to sign into your account, checkout using a social log in, or checkout as a guest or sign up for a new account. Once you have chosen how you would like to proceed follow the prompts through the process.

  2. Phone

    Our Learning Resources customer service representatives are available to assist you Monday through Friday between 7:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. CST. To speak to a representative please call us at 1-800-333-8281. International customers may call 1-847-573-8400.

  3. Fax

    Orders placed by fax can be sent to us at 1-888-892-8731. You may print out your shopping cart from LearningResources.com.

How do I change or cancel my order?

Once an order is submitted through the Learning Resources web site, it is immediately processed and unfortunately cannot be changed. Any product, however, may be returned for exchange or credit. A refund is available with your original proof of purchase from Learning Resources. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

How long does it take to process an online order?

Our goal is to ship your order as quickly as possible, subject to availability, receipt of payment and credit authorization. If you have not received an email confirmation from Learning Resources within two hours of placing your order, please call us at 800-222-3909. In order for us to provide the best customer service, please provide us your full name and zip code.

Do I have to register on Learning Resources website?

No, you do not have to register to place an order, however we encourage you to register. Registering will make the checkout process much faster for future purchases. Your billing and shipping information will be stored for you and shown each time you check out. With an account you will also be able to view past purchases, and create and maintain a wish list. If you do not wish to register simply choose the option to checkout as a guest when you are ready to place your order.

How do I track my order?

There are two ways you can track your order

  1. You will receive an email from us when your order has been shipped. This will include the tracking number for your package.
  2. If you have an account on Learning Resources web site you can log into your account through the “My Account” page on the top of the site. Once you are logged into your account you can click on the link for “Order History.” Here you can see all your past orders and the tracking information.

If you are unable to track your package using the above methods please contact our customer service department for further assistance at 1-800-222-3909. Our customer service hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30 AM through 5:00 PM CST.

Do you take backorders?

We do not take backorders for products. If you are interested in an item that is backordered you can see what date we are expecting it on our product detail page. You also have the ability to add the item to a wish list so you can remember what product you were interested in at a later date.

Is Learning Resources website secure?

For your security, we use the industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to prevent any private information you enter from being intercepted. We encrypt your credit card number and personal information using Verisign’s Secure Server ID, which enables secure communications.

Payment & Taxes
What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept MasterCard, American Express, Visa and Learning Resources gift cards. You must be at least 18 years old to order. We do not accept money orders, cash or personal checks for orders placed online.

Do you accept purchase orders

We do accept Purchase Orders from schools and organizations. Before you can use a purchase order online you must be set up in our system. Please fill out your information here. You will then be contacted by someone from Learning Resources when your account is set up. You must have an account on Learning Resources web site to apply.

How can I place a tax exempt order?

If you have a tax exempt certificate and would like to place an order online you will need to be set up in our system. Please fill out your information here. You will be contacted by someone from Learning Resources and they will need you to provide them with your tax exempt certificate. Once they have that they will be able to set up your account. Please note that you will need to be a registered user on the Learning Resources web site to be able to use this feature.

How do I use a Learning Resources Gift Card to pay?

When on the payment page of the checkout process there is a field just for Learning Resources gift cards. Enter your gift card number into the box and hit the “apply” button. You should not put this information in where the credit card information goes.

How do I use a coupon code?

There are two ways you can enter in your coupon code.

  1. On the bottom left of the shopping cart screen there is a box that says “Enter promo code.” Here you can enter your coupon code and hit apply. You should see your desired savings in the shopping cart.
  2. During check out, in the payment section there is a field for entering in a promotion code. Put your code into the box and click the apply button.
What can cause my order to be delayed?

If the billing information you provided does not match what your bank has on file (including address and telephone number), your order may be delayed.

While placing an order I received a message stating there was an authorization failure. What does that mean?

If you have an authorization failure, please double check the credit card number and the expiration date on your card. Also, please note that Learning Resources only accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for credit card payment. The most common problem is a keying error. Please be sure to select the card type and enter the number very carefully. You should not include any dashes, commas, or spaces. If you encounter an error page that asks you to re-enter the card information, make sure you re-select the credit card type and enter in all the card information.

Will I be charged Sales Tax?

Sale tax is applied for the following states (USA only). States with an asterisk charge tax on shipping in addition to merchandise. AL, AR*, AZ, CA, CO*, CT*, DC*, FL*, GA*, IA, ID, IL, IN*, KS*, KY*, MA*, MD, ME, MI*, MN, MO*, NC*, ND*, NE*, NJ, NM*, NV*, NY*, OH, PA*, RI*, SC*, SD*, TN*, TX*, VA, VT, WA*, WI* WV*.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges
How much will it cost to ship my order?

For orders in the contiguous US please refer to our shipping section. This will give you an estimate of your shipping based on merchandise sub-total. You will also be able to view the cost for 2-day and next day shipping options. Please note that any orders for expedited shipping need to be placed before 11am CST to be shipped out the same day. How long will it take to receive an order shipping to Canada?

Most orders take approximately 15 – 30 business days to arrive once the order has been successfully processed. Saturdays, Sundays and weekday Canadian holidays should not be factored into the delivery times as they are not business days. Delivery may take longer during our busy holiday season.

How will I know the cost for international shipping?

When placing an international order, exact shipping charges will be emailed to you after your order has been placed. You will have the option to cancel your order at this time. The amount you see in the shopping cart is just an estimation. We will give you exact numbers based on destination, size and weight of your order once it is placed. The orders take approximately 15 – 30 business days to arrive to its international destination.

How can I return my purchase?

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase from Learning Resources you can return your item(s) for a full refund within 365 days of purchase. Returns must be in the same state you received them, and in the original packaging. Simply let us know by email or phone. We will gladly provide you with return instructions right away.

It may take 5-7 business days for your return to reach the Learning Resources fulfillment centers. Once it is received and inspected (usually within 72 hours of receipt) your full refund (excluding shipping costs) will be processed and automatically applied to your original method of payment within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.

For our return process we will be providing you an RMA number. You will need to include this on the label when returning your package. Please send your package to:

What should I do if the product I purchased or received is defective?

We ask that you please first try to return the product to the original place of purchase (if it is not from Learning Resources web site.) If you have trouble please contact us directly for assistance in getting a replacement. You can speak to one of our friendly customer service representatives at 1-800-222-3909 or email us at CS@learningresources.com. Please provide us with your first and last name, mailing address, phone number, product name, proof of purchase, item number of your product (LER XXXX), lot number found on your box (nine digit number that starts with B, E or I) and provide us a detailed note of the issue you are experiencing.

Coupons, Promotions & Sales
How do I use a coupon code on Learning Resources web site?

There are two ways you can enter in your coupon code.

  1. On the bottom left of the shopping cart screen there is a box that says “Enter promo code.” Here you can enter your coupon code and hit apply. You should see your desired savings in the shopping cart.

Why is my coupon code not working?

There could be several reasons why a coupon code would not work. Please be sure to use all capital letters when entering. If a coupon code has expired it will not work. Multiple coupon codes will not work together. If you believe that you have a valid coupon code and it is not working please clear the cache in the internet browser you are using and try again. Some coupon codes also have a minimum order value or can only be used for specific products.

How can I find out about promotions?

In order to find out about promotions please sign up to receive email updates. In addition to email you can follow us on social media (facebook, twitter, google +, and pinterest).

How long will the product I want be on sale?

There is no set calendar for our products that are on sale. Most products are while supplies last. Often we do temporary mark downs of products. These products have to be purchased during the sale period and we will not price match if the product price increases at a later date.

What should I do if I can’t remember my password?

On the “My Account” page of Learning Resources web site, click the “Forgot your password?” link. You will be given instructions and asked to enter your email address.

How can I purchase a gift card?

If you are interested in purchasing a Learning Resources gift card simply enter the term “gift card” into the search box at the top of the page. You will be able to choose and amount from the selection we offer. You must purchase in the denominations provided. We do not offer the option for custom amounts.

Where can I find product and game instructions?

Does Learning Resources accept individual donation requests?

Giving back is one of Learning Resources’ core corporate values. In addition to making personal contributions and volunteering our time as individuals, we also make corporate donations to national and local charities. Please send your inquiries to showen@learingingresources.com.

How do I unsubscribe from your mailing lists?

If you received a promotional email from us and would no longer like to be on our list you can click the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email.

How can I contact customer service?

Do you have a catalog?

Do you price match?

We do not price match prices from previous purchases. We also do not price match other retailers that offer our products.

How can I write a review of a product?

Writing a review is easy! Simply find the product you are wanting to review. The fastest, and easiest way is to search for the product using our search bar at the top of the web site. You can search by name or product number (LER XXXX). Once you are on the product detail page you will see a link that says “Write a Review” under the name of the product. Simply click that link and you will be given a form that you can fill out with your review. We love to hear what our customers think!

My information has changed. How do I update my account?

Updating your information is easy. Simply click on the My Account link on the top of the page. Once you are there you can log into your account. You will be able to update your email, password and address through this link.
