Children learn social behaviorial skills to help regulate feelings and understand how to act in different situations. Social and behavioral skills include communication, problem-solving, making good decisions, and maintaining peer relationships. By role modeling and observing others, children learn to act appropriately in different situations. Social and behavioral skills help kids process, understand, and regulate feelings, emotions, and behaviors towards others in social settings. These skills are linked to peer interactions, learning, and inclusive success.
I am a Behavior Therapist at a Special Education school, with a case load of high school students who have difficulty communicating how they are feeling, what they want or need, and simple responses to directions. Since receiving the buzzers, we put them to work right away. I really like how easy they are to record simple messages/phrases.
