Great for teaching decimals!!
Comments about Learning Resources Cash Bash® Electronic Flash Card™:
I wanted this because it was a good way for my students to get used to adding decimals with a real life connection. What is easier to relate math to than money?

Great Game for Reinforcing Money Skills
By Former Primary Teacher
from Chicago, IL
This is a great product that reinforces money skills! There are 2 levels to this game: Level 1 is more basic. Level 2 counts up to $20.I like how this game incorporates addition and subtraction, along with money recognition/counting. I also like how the buttons of the money reflect what they really do look like. There is also a mute button, so that you don't have to constantly hear the game while the child is playing it.Overall, I really like this product. The child thinks that they are playing a "game", when in actuality, they are practicing money skills and addition/subtraction skills.I would recommend this product for any child in First Grade and up.
Fun and Engaging Money Game!

I used this product during my math centers. My kids would play against a partner and had a blast doing so! They loved that each money amount had its own button. Cash Bash was helpful with my students who needed extra help with counting money. It presented the concept in such a fun way that these struggling students felt more confident. It's a fabulous, fun game that every classroom should have! And please note, the sound can be turned on and off - so don't worry about the noises disturbing the other students!

Awesome little toy!
from Beaumont, CA
This is an awesome electronic toy with two different skill levels, you can easily switch from one level to another with the switch next to the power button. I love that it has the change and dollars along the bottom to help your child associate the "money" with the value on the screen. It helps them add and subtract the money.Another awesome feature about this product is the ability to turn the sound off and on. Sometimes when you are places you don't want your children's toys to be making noise, so to have the ability to turn it off is priceless. The screen is easy to use, the size is awesome and fits right in your child's hand.

Great Reviewing Resource
By My Four Monkeys
from Richmond, VA
We tried out the Cash Bash Electronic Flash Card, and in a matter of minutes, my kids were back up to speed on those coins and their values after the summer break!I can't wait to use Cash Bash with my preschooler when he gets older, and it's been a great review for 7 and 9 year old. Cash Bash combines the fun of a handheld game with the learning and skills needed for counting money. There are two different difficulty levels (one with just coins, and one that also involves bills), and each level's game time runs about 60 seconds. My kids can sit and play these short 60 second rounds forever! The goal is to solve as many "problems" as you can in 60 seconds. Each "problem" consists of an amount being flashed at the top of the screen, then using the coin and bill buttons, your child has to match that amount exactly.Cash Bash helps them retain the coin values and is also a great way to practice counting by fives, tens, etc. The one-player game also has sound, and gives audio feedback as you make selections. I love that the sound can easily be turned off with the switch of a button which makes this game/learning device perfect for on-the-go!*I was provided this product free of charge for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.*
Easy To Use

My 6 year old loves this!! He plays for hours telling me how much money he needs me to give him!!! The only thing that is tough with this toy is that it eats batteries often. We bought rechargeable batteries and that helps!
