Comments about Learning Resources Coin Cube Set: Heads and Tails:

I taught one of my special education students to use these and he taught the other 10 students in class. They played in small groups, adding money until one student won by reaching $10.00.

Comments about Learning Resources Coin Cube Set: Heads and Tails:

Games we play: 1. Roll the dice and pick up coins that match the coin rolled; play until someone reaches $2. 2. Roll the dice and pick up Cuisennaire rods or base ten blocks to match the number rolled; place blocks on a 100 block; play until the 100 block is filled. (For this version, the $1 coin is not used and the player who rolls it simply rolls again.)

Comments about Learning Resources Coin Cube Set: Heads and Tails:

These cubes are great and a great value compared to other places. My students roll a dice, stamp the coin they landed on, repeat 2 times, then add the coins together. It is a math center that I will keep all year.
