Our sturdy plastic Trundle Wheels feature supports on both sides of the wheel for added strength. A clicking sound tells students when the wheel has made a complete revolution, making measurement of long distances easy. Non-slip rubber tires allow for accurate readings.         I divide the class into groups of 5, with one trundle wheel each. Students estimate 50, 75 and 100 yards by walking ahead and waiting for the wheel runner and the tally maker to arrive. This continues until the group measures one mile.

        Also use to measure room dimensions in the school for map making.
