      Comments about Math Balance:

I use this scale with our homeschool math curriculum (RightStart Math) for 1st grade, and it works very well for the math games involved in our lessons. It is very wide, and tall enough to dangle some of those small bathroom cups to measure and compare weights of odd shapes. It is double sided; while one side is very clearly numbered 1-10 on both ends of the scale, the other side is just as usable without numbers. That feature has been unexpectedly useful.

It balances well enough, but it isn't perfect. I would say it comes really extremely close to being perfectly balanced, but the arms of the scale are almost always the tiniest, teensiest bit tilted more to one side. It's really a very slight tilt, and it can almost be ignored, but it is there.

Otherwise this would be a 5 star review.
