    Great for group viewing

Comments about Learning Resources Primary Science Catch 'n' View:

We use this net for our 3-4 age group at an adventure camp on our exploring and bug catching day. Kids have a hard time actually catching something with it, but when instructors catch something it's very good for showing to the whole group. The plastic is durable, but the net ripped along a seam which renders it useless until fixed. The kids get really excited about it though and it's perfect for catching butterflies!

Comments about Learning Resources Primary Science Catch 'n' View:

My little boy received a new toy today that he LOVES! It is this Primary Science Catch 'n' View! I love that this toy encourages his curiosity and that it entertains him so much. He isn't quite coordinated to smoothly catch things on his own, but he has a blast trying. I eventually help him and he is so fascinated by anything that we catch. This is such a great toy!

Let me tell you about the fun features. The handle can be short or extended for your child's bug catching fun. My son likes to go back and forth. Changing the length is fun for him. Once you catch something to view, you quickly put the lid on. You can also flip the handle and hook the net on to make it easier to view. We caught a crazy lizard that I have to admit, made me a little squeamish, but I pretended like I wasn't nervous because I don't want my son to develop my fear of lizards. Oh, catching a lizard... the things that we do for our children. (It was totally worth it to see him so engaged and happy!)

Have your children experienced an interest in small creatures? Is there something that you think would make their day to catch and view? What's more fun - trying to catch or viewing?! These are some great questions to think about if you are thinking of buying this product!

We are grateful for the complimentary review copy that we received of this toy. All of our opinions are honest and our own.

Comments about Learning Resources Primary Science Catch 'n' View:

My boys are HUGE bug fanatics. We live in Florida so they spend every single day catching anything that moves - dragonflies, lizards, beetles, cicadas, frogs/toads, they've even been known to go after wasps (ouch!). I received this Catch 'n' View net to review but honestly we had been eyeing to buy it anyways. It is hands down the BEST net we've ever had. It is SO simple to do - my 4 year old could easily convert it between net & keeper.

It's MUCH sturdier than your cheapy bug nets which we've had to buy tons of since my kids keep breaking those. I was impressed with the quality of Learning Resources net. The only downside which isn't a huge deal is that once you catch a critter you can keep it in the net but then you can't reuse it until you let them go.

I HIGHLY recommend this product - my kids use it on a daily basis & it's just ingenious. I haven't seen anything like it that is dual purpose - absolutely fantastic!
