Comments about Smart Snacks® Counting Cookies™:

My students enjoy playing with this product. However, I only let them use it when they have direct supervision. My students still try to eat the cookies.... I mean who wouldn't want a delicious chocolate chip cookie during a rough day at school?!

It is fun for counting and number identification. We also passed it around for kids to hide while playing "who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?"

*I was sent this item at no cost to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and were not influenced.

My little man just turned 2 last week. The Smart Snacks Counting Cookies set is perfect for helping my little guy (who loves cookies) learn how to count. This set is really fun and easy to play with/learn numbers. Each cookie has its own number ( 0-10) and on the opposite side as its coordinating chocolate chips, i.e.: cookie number 7 has 7 chocolate chips on the other side. The chocolate chips are realistic looking, and my son does love to pretend to eat the cookies and play with them.

He loves his cookie jar set and his big sister who is 5 years old loves to teach him to count to 10. I do wish the cookies were a tad bit bigger in size as I personally think they are little small, but it's not a deal breaker. It would also be neat if there were more numbers, say up to 20, but for 2 year olds I think this set is perfect with the numbers 0-10. It's a fun set and is easy clean up/easy to store as all of the cookies simply store away in the cookie jar!

I recommend this learning toy and think your child will love it! We are big Learning Resources fans in our home and continue to be with this fun learning toy!

Comments about Smart Snacks® Counting Cookies™:

This is a fun toy that is great for both early counters and for imaginative play. My two year old twins love playing with the set as part of their pretend kitchen play but they also love counting the cookies as they put them in the jar. In addtion, we are starting to identify the numbers on the cookies and count the chips. Great skills that grow with your child. The product is high quality, like all Learning Resources toys and will last!

          Adorable cookies!

Comments about Smart Snacks® Counting Cookies™:

Learning Resources makes the best play food and these are no exception. Great quality and super cute. We received this set for a review and my children (ages 3 and 1) absolutely love it. We own the previous version with the candy cookies also, and I do like this new version better as the cookies are more realistic (and chocolatey!) and the set includes 11 cookies (numbers 0-10) rather than just 10 (starting with #1). The only hesitation I have about giving it 5 stars is that the cookies are quite small, 1.75" in diameter, and I'm not 100% comfortable with my 1 year old playing with them as he still puts everything in his mouth. However, the age recommendation is 2 and up, so I won't take a star off for it but I do wish they were bigger and it's something to keep in mind if your children have younger siblings like mine. Overall a very fun play set and educational too!
